Women-owned home stay with the most authentic cooking class i had so far in Sri Lanka! I was cooking traditional recipes on the fire with organic vegetables from the own garden. In fact, they planned all vegan food upon request! Beautiful place in a village close to Pollonaruwa. Surrounded by coconut trees, fruit trees, herbal gardens and tea plantations... The host Thanuga is incredibly kind and sweet! I experienced real sri Lankan hospitality here. I would always come back. Plus: close to Sigiriya Lions Rock and Pollonaruwa temples!

Unique home stay close to Rittigala Mountain! Great accommodation surrounded by trees in a silent area of a small village. The tree house was my favourite spot! Host Ruwan & his wife were super kind and helpful. They gave us traditional cooking classes and took us to a village bike tour as well as to the mountain. Sigiriya Lions Rock, national parks and temples are also close to this SocialBnB!
