Zimbabwe – Musha Care Foundation

Our mission is to work with relevant sectors of society in order to empower the vulnerable communities and enable them to build a better life for them.

Three meals are included.
Safaris are offered nearby.

About the project

Musha Care Foundation (MCF) is a local non-governmental organization that is registered in Zimbabwe. MCF is operating in Harare and Wedza

Musha Care Foundation supports the following to vulnerable children in Zimbabwe.

We offer education services which include, inclusive education, part-time continuing education, out of school study groups, sports development and early childhood development.

We also offer health and nutrition services which include nutritional assessment, school health assessments, sexual reproductive health, wet and dry feeding to vulnerable children.

We also provide child protection support which includes: birth registration, parenting sessions, counseling, support groups for caregivers of disabled children, referrals, case management

We provide some economic services strengthening and the services, internal savings and lending schemes(ISALs), selection, entrepreneurship, planning and management (SEPM), income generation activities (IGA) training, start-up kits as well as support for schools with income generation projects to local communities which include widows, single mothers and divorced groups in order to empower them to be self-sustaining in their livelihoods in Harare and Wedza.

About the homestay

Travelers are accommodated in volunteer houses and can expect to share a room with other travelers.
Bedrooms are comprised of single or double beds, and bunk beds with bedding provided. The accommodation is safe and secure with the volunteer houses located in a safe suburb. Living is comfortable and the volunteer houses have electricity and running water with Western toilets.

During your trip, you can take time to relax or take the opportunity to explore tourist areas like Chinhoyi Caves about 41 km from Harare or other areas Mukuvisi Woodlands,Haka Game Park, lmire Game Parks and others.
Trips can be taken to go on safari, or travel to places further afield, such as the Victoria Falls and Hwange National Park.

The travelers will visit National Archives, The Shona Sculpture Gallery, Mukuvisi Woodlands,Paintbal Blitz and National Gallery of Zimbabwe.

Host

Charles Chibvamushure will be hosting the travelers on behalf of Musha Care Foundation and is the Coordinator for our travelers in Zimbabwe.
