Earth Company empowers and inspires change-makers who realize social change for our future generations.
“We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors. We borrow it from our children.” This Native American proverb underlines the philosophy at the very core of Earth Company’s existence.
Founded in 2014, Earth Company delivers critical resources and offers transformational support to one-of-a-kind change-makers – whom we call Impact Heroes – in the Asia Pacific region. Our approach is unique as we support the Impact Heroes over a three-year period, which is significantly longer than other social incubators and accelerators, and we deliver deep, substantial support including significant funding per Impact Hero, which is far more than other intermediaries.
To sustain and expand the Impact Heroes’ needed work, we have fundraised for them to build schools, clinics, and youth centers. In addition, we have provided marketing support and management coaching to the Impact Heroes; they state that our support has been invaluable for their work and incomparable to other similar intermediaries.
We are trying everything possible to make Earth Company more financially sustainable and more impactful in the long run. Our latest social business is Mana Earthly Paradise, an eco-hotel in Ubud Bali.
It is a next-generation eco-hotel concretely addressing the UN SDGs. We strive to be ecological- and socially-minded in every way possible through our earthbag villas, probiotic restaurant, and conscious store. We believe that tourism does not need to negatively contribute to social and environmental issues. Through sustainable practices and innovative eco-technologies, Mana aims to be part of the solution, not the problem.
The profit from your stay goes to fund Earth Company’s work to support the changemakers across the Asia Pacific.
Breakfast and drinking water are included.
Fans in every room, electricity, mosquito net, wardrobe, safe, wifi, parking.

Aska’s career and studies have revolved around the areas of climate change and disaster relief in the Asia Pacific. She managed disaster relief efforts after the 2009 Samoa Earthquake and 2011 Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. Aska served as the Vice President of a climate change NGO, Tuvalu Overview, while working with MIT’s Center for Collective Intelligence to run its crowdsourcing initiative, Climate CoLab, to help solve climate change.
In 2014 Aska was awarded the Dalai Lama’s Unsung Heroes of Compassion Award, an award that only 50 individuals around the world are selected every four years for their compassionate and impactful efforts to make the world a better.
In the same year, she and her husband co-founded Earth Company that aims to create a world that can be passed on to future generations.
