About the project
Alliance Nepal is a non-profitable organization for the volunteer work in Nepal established by young and energetic Nepalese volunteers, energetically working in education, environment, health and sanitation sector in different rural areas of Pokhara, Nepal. We enable volunteers to forge links with school children, youth groups and communities. We believe that this cultural exchange is invaluable for empowering our rural communities and for strengthening the bonds of understanding across the globe. The main focus of Alliance Nepal’s work is to raise educational awareness and enhance the lives of villagers by improving the education development within the community. A key aspect of this is through working towards setting up a Learning Center from the volunteer and cultural exchange program . The Learning Center will provide villagers with the opportunity to learn computer skills, dressmaking, and other income generating activities whilst acting as an information resource center.
About the homestay
Alliance Nepal Mission offers home stay for students, adults and over 60’s. Generally, anyone with an interest in learning about and experiencing Nepali culture, visiting the remote local areas of Pokhara, Nepal. We offer placements in both rural and urban areas with families experienced in having foreign stay with them.We have 10 houses with four rooms. We provide organic local food three times a day on your stomach interest. Most of our home stay are near by the touristic places like sarangkot,which is best in sunrise and paragliding. Hiking, Bird watching, zip flyer, View of Annapurna View is the main attraction of this village. Our home stays have hot water,wifi and good environment.
