Lichtstrahl Uganda e.V. is a small NGO from Münster, Germany, which operates in Gulu, in the northern part of Uganda. We want to provide medical services and nutriton to the local communities as well as access to school education on different levels. In 2011 we built a medical station including a maternity ward covering basic medical needs.

 

After that, we also focused on children's education and launched both a kindergarten and a primary school. We are constantly in the process of expanding our activities. From medical offerings like dental treatment and ultrasound examination up to building a new little village for vulnerable children, teenagers and mothers.
