Buhoma community rest camp is very pocket friendly for tourists traveling on budget. The room offers exceptional magic views of the forest canopy and sceneries mostly at sunsets. All meals are included in the price.
 
We not only offer gorilla trekking activities but there is an observation of other bird species inhabiting the region not recorded else where in Uganda. Buhoma community rest camp is located near the gates of Bwindi impenetrable forest national park, situated just above Buhoma village less than five minutes drive from main road.

Buhoma Community Rest Camp (BCRC) gives outdoor enthusiasts a taste of safari style and is an excellent base camp for gorilla tracking as well as observing the many endemic bird species that inhabit the region. Beginning in 1993, the BCRC is a community-based enterprise initiated and managed by members of communities surrounding Mukono parish
 
All revenue earned from visiting guests transfers to the Buhoma Mukono community development associationc(BMCDA) and is then dispersed to local community projects such as Buhoma community primary school, Buhoma community high
