About your accomodation
Shiringul’s homestay is one of the first homestays created in the Nuratau Mountains. The homestay is a member of a local Community Based Tourism initiative run by Responsible Travel LLC. Shiringul Musaeve is the wife of a homestay owner Mr. Parda Musaev, the homestay is named after her. Musaev's family has two houses where the guests can be accommodated. The first house has two guest rooms; one furnished in the traditional way with tapchan mattresses, the other one with two beds. In the new ablution building, there are two showers and a washing basin. In the cold season, one room in the ablution block can be heated. A solar heater provides hot water. In an additional building across the path, four more guestrooms are available. In total Shiringul’s homestay can accommodate up to 14 people in seven rooms, two people each. There is a covered sitting platform in the garden with a great view over the valley and the mountains. A creek passes the huge garden. Guests can relax in the shade of the big walnut trees either using one of the two tapchans or the various tables and benches. In the orchard, there is an additional village-style garden toilet.
