Bus from Kathmandu: Go to Chuchepate to the Helambu bus park (on the mainroad to Baoda from Chabil, near hotel Hyatt). Buses depart from 06.00 am to 09.00 am. The ride takes you to Nawalpur via Melamchi (via Bahunepate in monsoon) and is 65 km long. You can catch a bus in the morning from 06.00 to 08.00 am from Tinkune bus Park that goes to Nawalpur via Chatutara or Shivaghat.
