The Homestay is a traditionally built house and is surrounded with peaceful nature. It is easily accessible and has a beautiful view of the landscape and the surrounding mountains. The family living there consists of 4 members.
There are two beds in every room. It can‘t be said for sure if they will be standing separately or next to each other, but it can be changed as per need at the arrival.

Your host will be a typical Ladakhi Family, often with some cattle and farmland.
LEHO is an Indian NGO founded in 1991.
It has many projects focusing on the improvement of Ladakh, on the topics of sustainability, ecotourism, water management and education, with an overall goal to raise awareness on climate issues.
Activities
There is a possibility of spotting the iconic animal of Ladakh, the snow leopard aswell as the eurasian lynx during the season. At the Yarab Tso (lake) there is also a chance to observe rare bird species. Other activities that can be done in the village are for example Trekking …
