Mukisa Foundation is a Ugandan NGO empowering children with disabilities and their families through health, education, inclusion, and sustainable community development.
Mukisa Foundation envisions a future where children with disabilities thrive in strong, inclusive, and resilient communities. Our long-term goal is to create sustainable systems that enable children with disabilities and their families to access quality healthcare, education, economic opportunities, and social inclusion. Many of these families face barriers such as stigma, poverty, limited access to services, and social exclusion. We achieve our goals through a holistic 360-degree approach that combines healthcare, therapy, education, vocational skills training, family empowerment, advocacy, and community awareness. On Bussi Island, we are developing an inclusive village that provides training, employment,
