Hi, I'm William and I’ll be happy to host you during your stay!
Al Numeira Environmental Association (NEA) is located in Ghor Al Mazara, one of the villages in the fertile southern Dead Sea region.
Our mission at NEA is to promote innovative water conservation methods and environmental education to build a more sustainable future in the Jordan Valley.
We therefore strive to implement changes in the handling of water through greywater management, rainwater harvesting and permaculture. Furthermore, we aim to educate the local community on how they can implement these practices in their own lives to create a more sustainable lifestyle for both themselves and their children.
NEA additionally acts as a multicultural
Activities
We offer traditional cooking classes, hikes and bike tours through the beautiful surrounding nature, and a tour of our project in case you want to learn more about our work. All activities can be booked at the destination against an additional fee.

Location
How to get there
From the airport you can take a taxi directly to the center or take public buses.
The taxi costs around 25 JD.We can also arrange a pick up service for you.
Taking the bus costs around 10 JD and takes 3 hours, but you will have more chances to interact with the locals.From the airport there are buses that go to Amman almost every hour.A ride costs 3.25 JD and lasts about 40 minutes...
