The cozy stone house in the eco-village is surrounded by a breathtaking mountain landscape. It is suitable for two to three and a maximum of four people (for example a family with two children).Unfortunately we cannot accommodate dogs.
The cottage is modernized and has a small living room of about 8 x 5 meters with a kitchenette. In the kitchen there is a gas stove for cooking...

Daniel is a Dutch citizen and has lived in Zonca for over 10 years. He is an author, a trained healer and organises a variety of activities including construction and maintenance in the village.
The village has been more or less abandoned since the 1960s and many houses are now in ruins. Since the '90s a group of about 12-15 people are attempting to revive the village and restore houses. We grow organic food and attempt to recoup as much as possible of the old ways. In addtion we are gradually introducing new ideas and materials where necessary in the interests of the environment.
All homes in the village are privately owned. Each person here takes responsibility for one or several houses and land.
The village remains isolated due to the poor condition of its road and has therefore preserved more of its original character than other villages in the area.
This includes its proximity to nature. Wildlife regularly enters the boundaries of the village. Deer, wild boars, the occasional wolves and a host of other animals can be encountered.
Activities
Take part in the numerous community activities such as cooking and eating together or gardening. We also occasionally and spontaneously fire up the community pizza oven. On Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. there are meditations in front of the church, followed
