CANCHA CANCHA TRECK Hiking, Lagoons and Inter-Cultural exchange and experience. Duration: 4 Days / 3 Nights Schedule: 6:00 - 18:00 Walking distance: 35 km approx. Development: -Hike to the native community of Cancha Cancha. -Reception of the community and lunch in host homes. -Living, potato cultivation, llama and alpaca breeding, textiles. -Walk through the community and its lagoons. -Walk back to Huarán. Description: This activity is inspired by the desire to share our work, our cultural identity and our mission to safeguard our intangible cultural heritage, as well as empower women in our communities to demonstrate and lead tourism activities in their territories as hosts. Hiking through mountain trails, passing through several Quechua-speaking high Andean communities with breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and beautiful waterfalls and lagoons. We will cross forests of queñua, an endemic tree of Peru, as well as a great variety of trees, plants and flowers. This experience allows us to improve the quality of life and provide fair opportunities for 15 families in the community of Cancha Cancha. Itinerary:.

Where you'll be
You can get to our place with this option. - We can help you organize a taxi for you from wherever you are in Cusco (almost 2 hours) or the Sacred Valley(almost 1 hour) -Or using public transportation: From Cusco, you take a taxi to Calle Puputi, there you have to find the bus that goes to URUBAMBA, after 1:15 hours, you ask the driver to let you out in "ENTRADA DEL TEMPLO HUARAN". From there, you walk the road for 15 min until you get to Casita Huaran.
