This is what your adventure trip looks like

Typical week: ‎ Between June 26th and September 1st the activities revolve around the summer school (called Casal de Verano) which we run in the center.

er. The majority of the work during this time involves working with the kids so some of the workshops and training may be affected. ‎ ‎ The volunteers will work 35 hours/week, this includes cleaning and maintenance of the living space. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm. The day starts with Morning Glory: a 30’ routine including 15’ of physical activity, this can be yoga, stretching, exercise, etc; 8’ of meditation and 7’ of positive writing. ‎ Every day is planned around the necessary activities of the center: ‎ Monday is the day to plan and prepare all activities that will occur during the week! This means we organize needs, priorities, teams, goals and appropriate training to be ready for the coming challenges. Logistics and hygiene related to food are very important and everybody must work on this! We end the day by a climbing workshop and/or to recollect bread in the bakery located in front of the Sagrada Familia. ‎ Tuesday is foodbank day. The first thing in the morning is to prepare the area and disinfect the floor, tables and fridges which will come in contact with the food; inventory control and separate the food that expires soon. We distribute the food to the local families and once finished we disinfect everything a second time. We usually end the day by a yoga workshop. ‎ Wednesday is the day dedicated to elderly people in which the volunteers lead activities to be done with the person we attend. This is also the day they receive a coaching session and language class. Some other tasks are also helping like communication, administration, arts, maintenance and improvements, cleaning, marketing, etc. We usually end the day by a self-defense workshop. ‎ Thursday we go to our organic urban farm in the mountains close to the NGO to share community life and work tog‎ether on alimentary sovereignty. We usually end the day by a meditation workshop. ‎ Friday afternoon we have a weekly meeting in order to plan the next week and also do some team building activities. Then we go to the city center of Barcelona to hand out food to the homeless in the area. Once a month we organize a Charity Event by night. ‎ Weekends are off to fully enjoy Barcelona! ‎ There are also 2 hours of general training per week: cross cultural of volunteership, human resources, food regulation, NGO’s management, etc
