Smiling Gecko Cambodia (SGC) aims to provide direct aid under the motto "Cambodians for Cambodians". The aim is to promote local work and strengthen the self-reliance of the rural population. With its cluster project, SGC focuses on combating the causes of poverty and providing sustainable help for self-help, in addition to direct aid and support for other NGOs.

 

To this end, a project was launched on a separate site north of Phnom Penh, which will in future provide training and regular income in the sectors of agriculture, tourism, industry and handicrafts for several thousand Cambodians.
