The house is located at a hike of 100 m interior of the village’s main street. The path goes right from the main village street after crossing Sami homestay which is located behind the Panchayat Hall, a community gathering space under the local government institution. Motorcycles can reach the house through an alternative single-lane path that goes by the side of Border View homestay, but 4-wheelers cannot. The house has an amazing view of the mountains from the first-floor rooms. The family stays on the ground floor. Mrs Khatooni Begum’s Khalida Bano is one of the two go-to persons to navigate within the village for any experience. Khalida is an expert in cooking Kashmiri Wazwan apart from the traditional cuisines. She is also skilled in knitting woollen garments and felting toys. There are two beds in every room. It can‘t be said for sure if they will be standing separately or next to each other, but it can be changed as per need at the arrival.
