Dario is a passionate ambassador for marine conservation in Sicily
Marecamp is a voluntary association, founded in 2014 following the merger of other pre-existing organizations, which carries out research, education and dissemination activities to promote coastal culture and Sicilian marine resources, with a particular focus on the eastern Ionian Sea.
Its activities, carried out by experts with a great passion for the sea, aim to disseminate knowledge about cetaceans to a wide audience and support the availability of data on the health status of the various species for the scientific community and decision-makers. The main objective is to promote the conservation of marine mammal populations in Sicilian waters, guide the community to adopt good sustainable practices and offer ideas to guide management plans for the protection
