Hi, I'm Arunavh and I’ll be happy to host you during your stay!
Muhaan in Nepali means source. This is reflected in the ethos of Muhaan, a social enterprise from Kalimpong which aims to provide eco-friendly, sustainable, and alternative livelihoods to the people of remote villages.
We are trying to achieve this by proper promotion of the unique important assets of the rural ecosystem. We are a team of driven individuals from various backgrounds who are working to develop sustainable community tourism models in the associated villages.
Our long term goal is help preserve the unique features of rural ecosystem and also create sustainable livelihood opportunities for the people of remote rural villages. We achieve this by allowing the community to use whatever resources they have and use it build a community tourism model which will benefit all sectors of the community.

How to get there
For visitors arriving via Railway:
The nearest railway station is Malbazar, about 40kms (2 and half hours) from
Parengtar.From Subhash More, Malbazar you can take a shared taxi to Parengtar.The average fare of a shared taxi is between 150-200 Indian rupees (1,50-2,50$) per person.
The nearest major railway junction is New Jalpaiguri Junction, Siliguri which is about
95 km (3 hours) distance.You have to reach Kalimandir Bus Stand in Siliguri to get a
shared taxi.
For visitors arriving via Airport:
The nearest airport is Bagdogra International Airport, Siliguri is 112 km (4-5 hours)
from Parengtar...
