About your accomodation
Enter one of the ancestral communities of Oaxaca - Cuajimoloyas - through the furniture, textiles and finishes of your room.
This accommodation is a tribute to the Sierra Juárez, especially to its "Pueblos Mancomunados" and the work they have done in the conservation of its forests. Its natural and cultural richness can be appreciated with the edible mushrooms that are collected every year and that inspire the atmosphere of this room.
You will have your private room with a double bed and a private bathroom. All rooms have a desk, towels, biodegradable shampoo and soap.In addition, you have access to the communal spaces like the terrace and the shared kitchen (from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm).
Important for you to know: Our rooms do NOT have water toilets, because we want to avoid the waste of such a valuable resource and the pollution of lakes, rivers and seas that its use generates...

Hi, I'm Aída and I’ll be happy to host you during your stay!
"Niyana" comes from the Mazatec language and means "Your home" or "My home", depending on the context. It is our biocultural house where we share with you the love for Oaxaca and the bond with our land. We build the house with more sustainable ways of joining the environment and the communities that are the essence of Oaxaca.
We believe in the mutual aid that characterises this land, which is why we generate alliances and promote the different projects for life, artisans and conscious entrepreneurs that exist in Oaxaca. If you like, you can visit the artisans, foundations and permaculture projects we work with.
We carefully designed the building to reconnect with
