Get involved in active marine conservation—from underwater research to nighttime turtle patrols
This is what your adventure trip looks like
10-Day Costa Rica – Marine Conservation Expedition: Citizen Science & Community Work.
Welcome to an expedition that goes far beyond diving. During the first five days, you’ll dive in the species-rich waters of the Papagayo region in Guanacaste, collect underwater data on sharks and sea turtles, and work side by side with renowned Costa Rican marine biologists Randall Arauz and/or Daniel Arauz. You’ll help weigh, measure, and tag loggerhead sea turtles, actively contributing to the protection of endangered species.
