Hi, I'm Johana and I’ll be happy to host you during your stay!
Our work at Sustainable Amazon aims to promote the conservation of natural resources in the Amazon through sustainable agriculture, biological research and monitoring, and community engagement and education.
We conduct basic and applied research in the Peruvian Amazon that forms the basis for science-based conservation. From biological inventories, population monitoring, and in-depth studies of rainforest ecology to the impacts of national policies and issues facing our local communities, our projects aim to generate and share the information needed to effectively protect the Amazon, its plants and animals, and ensure sustainable livelihoods.
