About your accomodation
The inspiration for this unique apartment came from the original Portuguese name of the land, "Moinho das Canas", which loosely translates as "cane mill".As the name suggests, a lot of cane grows here and we have used this material to furnish this apartment.The use of other natural building materials such as cork, wood and stone gives the apartment a really harmonious feel.
The living area consists of a comfortable, custom-made sofa that sits next to a cozy wood-burning stove.A smaller built-in oven allows you to make a fire on cold days and bake a cake if you feel like it...

Hi, I'm Bela and I’ll be happy to host you during your stay!
Vida Pura is an eco-friendly & family friendly retreat in the middle of a reserve close to the town of Odeceixe and its marvellous beach. We are a facility centre for other retreat organisations and we aim to host health and well-being retreats. We have ongoing weekly activities, we organize workshops and much more. Moreover, we have a farm based on bio-dynamic principles and quite a few animals; donkeys, dogs, cats, ducks & chickens. The nature of this project is communitarian and the profit is put towards local projects such as biological gardening in local schools.

We offer Yoga Classes, Qi Gong classes, Sound Healing sessions, Massages and amazing hikking routes nearby
At Odeceixe beach (7km away) you can find Surf classes and SUP

How to get there
We do recommend to rent a car to allow you to discover the area.
But you can also come by bus to the town of Odeceixe and we can pick you up from the sus stop. Be aware that we are 3.5km from the local town and supermarkets.
