FAQ

What makes this an “Impact Trip”?

This journey is designed to combine adventure with meaningful contribution. You’ll stay in community‑run homestays, plant trees, and support wildlife corridors, while your trip fees directly fund conservation and education programs. Unlike a standard holiday, every activity is tied to a bigger purpose — protecting endangered species and empowering local communities.

How much physical fitness do I need for this trip?

A normal level of fitness is sufficient, as most activities involve light hikes, river cruises, and optional night walks. While the days can be active, the pace is flexible and adapted to the group’s comfort. If you enjoy being outdoors and can handle a few hours of walking or boating, you’ll be perfectly fine

What kind of wildlife can I expect to see?

While sightings are never guaranteed, common highlights include orangutans, proboscis monkeys, pygmy elephants, hornbills, turtles, and a wide variety of reptiles, amphibians, and insects. The diversity of habitats you’ll visit — from rivers to rainforests to coastal islands — increases your chances of seeing rare species. Every day offers new opportunities for surprise encounters in the wild.

Do I need to bring special equipment?

No specialist gear is required, but sturdy walking shoes, insect repellent, a reusable water bottle, and lightweight clothing are recommended. Binoculars and a camera will enhance your experience, especially for wildlife spotting. The local team provides any equipment needed for conservation activities like tree planting.
