About your accomodation
Amooti, our cabin with two beds of 110 cm wide each, is located in the village of Kimya, surrounded by beautiful nature and overlooking Mwamba Lake with the magnificent Rwenzori Mountains in the background. The lake beach is only 400 metres away and can be reached from the main dirt road. You can access the 13 sqm wooden cabin with wooden floors and thatched roof, climbing a few steps that lead you the the verandah where all 3 cabins are located. The toilet and showers are a few metres away and shared between the three cabins. The open dinning area, also overlooking the lake and where you enjoy a delicious meal and relax away from city noise, is also a few metres away. Our staff is very friendly and our guests feel instantly at home. Children are welcomed and will enjoy surely enjoy the many beautiful birds and colourful lizards that visit us. Pets are allowed in the compound but not in the rooms.

Where you'll be
We are located just 28 kilometers from the city of Fort Portal. You can either come by car or with a Boda boda (motorcycle taxis ) but keep in mind that most boda bodas will refuse to bring you once it's dark. We can also organize for a pick-up service from anywhere in Fort Portal to our facilities.
