About your accomodation
The campsite is located 25 km east of Grootberg Lodge or 75 km on the C40 west of Kamanjab amidst beautiful granite hills and mopani trees.It is under the same management as the Grootberg Lodge, the historic, initiative funded by the EU and wholly owned by the people of the conservancy.
Each campsite has its own shower, wash basin and toilette with running water.To add an eco-friendly touch, the hot water system works in combination with
the braai area, therefore whilst you are busy cooking your food, your water will be warmed up for your shower.
The campsites have no electricity or power points.Our 4 tented units are powered by solar energy...

The camp is owned by the #Khoadi //Hoas conservancy (Damara-Nama for corner of the elephant). The name of the campsite, Hoada, is a Damara-Nama term for “everybody”.
A reform in conservation efforts and education made the community the overall custodians and beneficiaries, and the value of conservation became understood.
To further add to conservation efforts, a Predator’s Fund was established to compensate farmers for livestock lost to predators, while also generating funds for infrastructural needs to minimise their risk. Today ≠Khoadi //Hoas Conservancy is proud to be an international case study of how conservation efforts can be successful and sustainable in the long run. By visiting this breath-taking part
Activities
Activities that can be organized on site are a Damara Cultural Walk, Elephant Excursion, Rhino Trekking. During the trekking you observe animals in their natural habitat from a safe distance, so as not to interfere with their habitat.
