As night falls and the sun sets, peace reclaims the land along with the zebra, eland, springbok, and night hares.There is something magical about waking up at !Khwa ttu.It should not be missed.
On the sea side of the Nature Reserve, are four luxury tents (sleep two adults each) in comfort on a king-size bed with en-suite bathrooms under the stars, lounge area and equipped kitchenette.Each unit has its own outdoor fire pit and braai for meals under the stars, as well as a deck for watching the West Coast’s famous sunsets.
The camp is surprisingly tranquil given you can reach it in a long hour from Cape Town...

Activities
As a Heritage centre, !Khwa ttu offers 3 museum buildings and 5 superb San guided tours, all designed to engage the body and senses, as much as the mind.
Our tours are: "Tea tasting - the veld pharmacy", "First people - food from the ancestors", "Encounters - when cultures collide", "The Way of the San - Spirit, hunting and gathering" and lastly "Tracking - reading the signs". Tours of our museums can be led by one of our San guides or self-guided. For the independent visitor, we also have walking and mountain bike trails, for all tastes and levels.
!Khwa ttu also offers a seasonal restaurant inspired by the San’s incredible knowledge of indigenous plants...

How to get there
Arrival must be made via car. Cape Town International Airport is 74 km away. Pick up service can be arranged after your booking.
