I traveled extensively in my younger years, worked on farms and benefited from these experiences throughout my life. Becoming a socialbnb Host allows me to give back to community and share experience.
Through sustainable agriculture on the farm, Tirrintippin maintains an extensive natural habitat that supports a wide variety of wildlife, birds, and bees, as well as a number of endangered species.
Our long-term goal is to successfully share our knowledge of sustainable agriculture through partnerships in a number of developing countries.
The focus is on the "3 sisters" system of sustainable agriculture - corn, beans and pumpkin. This polyculture cropping system provides more food and supports more people per hectare compared to single crop monocultures or monoculture mixtures.

A light daypack and water is all you need to start a wonderful adventure exploring an enormous natural forest with cascading waterfalls and towering trees that are the largest in NSW.
Wildlife and bird life abounds on this natural plateau.

How to get there
If you’re coming from Sydney it takes about 4h to drive or 5h via Train (pickup service required).
Arriving by train at Wingham Station it is a pleasant and scenic road journey of 40 minutes to Tirrintippin with a transfer cost of AUD20; we pleased to pick you up with prior arrangement.
