The Ibu bumi orangutan guesthouse is located in the local village called Batu Katak, on the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park. Here you can enjoy a relaxing night in our accommodation close to nature.
The area is 10m from the river and the rainforest, we offer you the option to book a beautiful jungle experience or a flower trip depending on the season.

Our project aims to protect the natural resources of the northern jungle of Sumatra through a comprehensive intervention in the communities adjacent to the jungle to provide them with tools and capacity to manage and protect these resources appropriately and sustainably.
These are the areas where we are working:
- Local economic development through small livestock cooperatives.
- Exchange of palm oil for sustainable trees
- Participation in sustainable tourism activities
- Environmental education
