Activities

This resort features its own educational center, which is open to visitors free of charge.

We charge a little fee if they would like a thorough explanation of Inti Sisa's history given by one of our guides. This one-hour guided tour is quite informative and includes fresh coffee and homemade empanadas.

Beyond our community tours, guests are also offered guided tours to the Chimborazo volcano which we highly recommend to everyone interested in visiting the location.

Location

How to get there

Guamote is a town located in the Chimborazo Province of Ecuador, and it's approximately 185 kilometers south of Quito. You can get there either by car or by bus taking a public bus from Quito's "Quitumbe" terminal to Riobamba. From Riobamba, you can take a shared bus or taxi to Guamote.
