The camp is located about 35 km south of the city of Zagora and has a total of eight tents, each 25 square metres in size and with comfortable beds.The beds per tent can be arranged as per your wishes.This means that there can be two, three, four or even five beds in one tent, depending on your needs...

Hi, I'm Mohamad and I’ll be happy to host you during your stay!

Camp Ahansal has set itself the goal of helping children who live in remote areas of the Moroccan desert. Many of them are unable to go to school because the distance between their home village and the nearest school is to to far away to attend every day. Having experienced first-hand how much education can change lives, Mohamad Ahansal decided to build a school in his village so that the children of the surrounding villages can graduate.

The school is located 30 km from Zagora and contributes to the development of the community by educating children of different age groups. It is registered as an official public school and is therefore open to all children. The teacher focuses on teaching the first four years before the

Activities

Hikes, mountain bike tours, yoga, jeep tours to the largest sand dunes of Chagaga, a visit to the Draa Valley, a visit to the town of Zagora or the old library of Tamgrout.
