Optional Activities for an extra fee include: After a hearty breakfast at the BBQ HUB, you will embark on your adventure early in the morning with the first stop being the “Kuda Oya River” where you will take part in Fishing at the nearby river with complimentary Sri Lankan snacks such as “Manioc & Lunu Miris”.

Take part in the whole process from catching the fish to preparing it and cooking it, all in the middle of marshy plains with stunning sights in every direction you see.

In the area, you will witness cattle farmers with a rally of cattle along with Sri Lanka’s “Meeharak”, where fresh curd and butter are farmed.

You will indulge in a riverside lunch including the fish that was caught in the morning along with fresh heirloom fruits and vegetables from home-gardens around the area to prepare a truly authentic, delicious and healthy traditional Sri Lankan Lunch, all in the middle of a riverside jungle! Finish off your day with a scrumptious BBQ at the BBQ HUB which is also your place of stay located at the heart of Ella.
