socialbnb's journey began with the Go Pang Na project. Seng Thy wanted to build a school in his village to provide free English lessons for children. However, he lacked the necessary financial means for his social project. Together we developed the idea of renting out the empty rooms of his house to travelers and let them participate in the daily life of the village. Within three months, so many travelers visited Seng that he was able to build the school and hire an English teacher with the income. The accommodation fee paid by the travelers stays in the village and supports the education of the children.
