About your accomodation

Grootberg Lodge is unique in every way: It is perched on the rim of the Etendeka Plateau with endless views over the Klip River Valley. 12 000 hectares have been set aside by the ≠Khoadi-//Hôas community for conservation and tourism.

It is this pristine wilderness that you can explore either on foot or by car to encounter some of Namibia’s iconic wildlife species, including the desert-adapted elephant and black rhino. The double room has its own shower, toilet and washbasin plus complimentary toiletries. The rooms also feature a writing desk, bedside lamps as well as a coffee and tea station with a vacuum flask for hot water (refillable at reception).

There is a small outside deck As the first mid-market establishment in the country that is 100% owned by a conservancy, it is a landmark in the Namibian tourism industry.

Grootberg Lodge is an ideal stopover en route between Etosha and Swakopmund.

Your overnight stay supports

wildlife conservation and the reduction of human-wildlife conflict.
