Hi, I'm Karina and I’ll be happy to host you during your stay!
Huerta Luna is a permaculture farm accomplishing resilient regenerative agriculture so to demonstrate sustainable farming is possible within the unique challenges the Galapagos Islands face. We research techniques and plant varieties that allow resilient regenerative farming in Santa Cruz Island with the goal to contribute to expand local clean production so to realize food security, ecosystem conservation and just circular local economy relations.
Moreover, the Huerta Luna is the founder of the first association of agroecological producers in Galapagos (The Food Community Alliance), whose members we have trained so to achieve agroecological certification.
