About your accomodation
We are in a conservation concession area located in the buffer zone of the Tambopata National Reserve, bordering the Madre de Dios River.We are one hour by boat from the city of Puerto Maldonado, Peru.
The main house is a common area where we have a well-equipped kitchen, a dinning room, a library, a study area, a laundry room, outside showers and toilets, volleyball court, hammock areas (also a big hammock near by the river).We use green energy (solar energy) according to minimalize our impact on the environment.
The shared rooms are in two bungalows with two bunkbeds each (four person max for each room), terrace and shared bathroom.The is room is 20m² plus terrace...
Your overnight stay supports
management of our forest and training local students.

Activities
You can join to our activities such as: night walk, camera traps, mammals transects, vegetation studies and other activities which are currently done during your stay.
Also, there are additional tours, you can visit the Sandoval Lake in the Tambopata National Reserve, as well as a wildlife rescue center and a platform in the trees.

How to get there
It is not possible to reach our station by yourself because we live in the middle of nowhere.We will pick you up with our boat at a meeting point in the city Puerto Maldonado.The trip to our station is more or less one hour and is included in the price.
It is also possible to pick you up from the airport, bus station or hotel for an additional fee.
To avoid spending more boat trips, please try to arrive on Wednesday or Sunday (before 3 pm) and leave on Wednesday or Saturday (after 9-10 am)...
