Activities

At the Mbunga Community Camp, guests have the opportunity to request music, dance, and drumming sessions, as well as campfires upon request. Within the campsite, you can also visit a traditional healer and witness the women engaging in weaving activities.

Additionally, you can enjoy hiking to the breathtaking waterfall, situated at an elevation of 2000 meters above sea level, all within the Mbunga community.

For a unique experience, we can arrange cooking classes, dance classes, and a seed-to-cup local coffee experience.

Location

How to get there

You have the option of being picked up by either a Boda Boda (motorcycle cab) or a private car. Please note that the road to the camp is in a bad condition and climbs steeply into the mountains. If you want to drive yourself, you should choose a vehicle with four-wheel drive (4WD). The local boda boda drivers, on the other hand, have a lot of experience driving in the mountains and will bring you safely to the camp.
