The accommodation is located in the rural setting on the beautiful shores of the Goreangab Reservoir in northwest Windhoek.Penduka's facilities are run by women from the Katutura area who are trained to produce high quality handmade art products.
There are four beds in this dormitory.You sleep in a traditional house, which is equipped with a private bathroom.

Activities
On site you will have the opportunity to participate in numerous activities, such as: Participate in one of our craft workshops or the Penduka 'Wake up' morning exercise. Our Harmonature tour shows you the green side of Penduka.
We also offer a tour of the bustling village and are happy to show you how the houses of the different Namibian ethnic groups were traditionally built. You can also listen to the exciting and cultural stories told by the Oshiwanda or cook your own delicious dinner over the fire of a three-legged grill in the evening.

How to get there
Arrival by Pick-Up, Taxi or private car: If you come via the airport by bus or taxi you will stop in the city center.
As from there, we can pick you up (please contact us after booking the accommodation to organize the Pick Up Service). Own transport coming from Windhoek Capital city follow signs with Katutura, stay on Independence avenue, cross Otjimuise road and come on Evelyn street.
Take the big curve to the right and take the first big crossroad to the left, from there follow signs with "Penduka"! Since road construction takes place frequently, look out for the Penduka signs in different colours.
The gravel road will take you straight to the gate of Penduka.
