Our cosy hostel in traditional architectural style has single and twin rooms, with shared bathrooms and hot water.We also offer a restaurant service with delicious local food. The accommodation is surrounded by waterfalls, mountains and volcanoes.You can enjoy the Baños de Agua Santa, which offer amazing waterfalls and thermal waters, and observe the Tungurahua volcano, active since 1999. You can also hike to the Cotopaxi volcano or Chimborazo, the highest mountain in Ecuador

      How to get there

      If you are coming from the north (Quito, Cotopaxi) or from the South (Guayaquil or Chimborazo), or from the Amazonian region you need to take a taxi or public bus to the Comunidad Huasalata which is settled at the north of Salasaka's town, near/before to La Parroquia El Rosario, it is 7 minutes by car or bus, or 45 minutes walking.

      The guest house and the hostel and the project workplace are settled in Comunidad Huasalata's principal avenue entrance, next to the Asequia Albornos bridge.

      The reference is casa de eugenio espejo, "el cieguito".
