From the accommodation you can make different excursions into the nature reserve.
For example, you can visit the Pacaya Samiria Nature Reserve for a minimum of 3 days, but also for up to 12 days, to go deeper into the Peruvian Amazon with our canoe expeditions.
You also have the opportunity to visit the local community to learn about their traditional activities.

How to get there
From Lima you can take a plane (1 hour) or a bus (24 hours) to Tarapoto (San Martin).
From there you can rent a car to get to Yurimaguas (2.
5 hours). From Yurimaguas (Loreto region) to Villa Lagunas - Emanuel Varadero de Tibilo Native Community (entry point to Pacaya Samiria National Reserve) you can get across the Huallaga River in speedboats (4 hours).
Departure times from Yurimaguas to Villa Lagunas are 5am and 5pm. When you arrive in Lagunas (and hopefully have made reservations beforehand), we will pick you up and take you directly to Albergue Wonder Amazon..
